The continuous making of new life
An updated revision of something I wrote a year ago:
As I continue to work through issues with health and life, I am keeping my focus on how to live well. The hope of that keeps my head above water in a difficult time. But it’s rather like something Colin Powell once said about war. “Perpetual optimism, believing in yourself, believing in your purpose, believing you will prevail, and demonstrating passion and confidence is a force multiplier. If you believe and have prepared your followers, the followers will believe…” Even when it seems all guns are pointing directly at you.
Believe with me.
Last year I found I was lucky to find I had those believers. And I still have them. The group is growing. The group is letting me know how I am doing. And because of them — some of you who are reading this, included — I don’t give up.
I am very glad for friends who don’t give up on me. I don’t give up on you, either. Thank you.
