Does Idealism or Realism Best Describe What is Real?

Photo by Candi Foltz on Unsplash What a marvelous creature is this little guy, like the ones flitting by my head as I wrote this post. But, is it real? Does it exist only my mind? Or is there an external reality that will be there whether my mind is there to contemplate it or not?

One aspect of a “Unified Theology of Everything” is analyzing the two contrasting views of reality that are present today in science and philosophy.
