IBM Scientist Discovers Art is in Our DNA

The dimensions of the Parthenon are based on the ratio known as the Fibonacci sequence. Why is this 4:9 ratio so pleasing to us, reaching deep into our souls it seems. It just may be because that same ratio is found in our DNA.

Creation is a work of art. As an artist and someone intensely interested in science, evolution, cosmology, quantum physics and more, the connection between what we know about the natural world and its relationship to art has fascinated me.

Imagine my surprise then to find out how DNA sequences are related to the Golden Mean!
