And then some more!

McFred Again

I can’t say anything more about this. And I probably shouldn’t. There isn’t any point whining about something that the manager will just not change. Hopefully, he can prove me wrong along the way. It’s not just the players individually, it’s also the partnership that just is not effective.

Aaron’s Improvement

I couldn’t help but notice that run from Wan Bissaka near the 25th-minute mark. As someone who’s watched him from his Crystal Palace days, he’s become so much better offensively. And of course, he’s still one of the best defensively.

Villa’s Press

This took me by surprise. Yes, they blew Everton out of the water. But to have the courage to do that against one of the Big 4, speaks volumes. It was a very well organised press from Dean Smith’s men, that in the end proved too much for United.

Set Piece Misery. Yet Again

Villarreal. Europa League Final. Cavani concedes a freekick. Lindelof loses his man. You know the rest. And despite bringing in Eric Ramsay, it still is the same. Corner to Villa. Cavani loses his man. The near post is not being guarded. You know the rest.

Bruno’s Aggression Gets The Better Of Him

When Ronaldo signed for United, many expected Ole to bow down to social pressure and assign CR7 to penalty duties, even though his record is worse than Bruno’s. But Ole stuck to his guns. Unfortunately, it was the wrong decision. Throughout the match, one could see Bruno frustrated. He even kicked the ball into the home faithful in frustration. To allow him to take penalties TODAY, was Ole’s mistake. A good manager would have sensed his exasperation, and told him to give it to Ronaldo.
