Ronaldo Rested

This was bound to happen. Despite probably being the fittest football player on the planet, age is NOT just a number, as the 36-year-old found himself on the bench today, having played two full games in the space of 5 days. Was he missed? Let me known in the comments below.

…Tony Martial Scores Again!

Who needs Ronaldo? Just kidding. We do. Nonetheless, a brilliant team goal was finished off by Martial, the forgotten man. While he may never be the talisman of United, he is still an important part of the squad and will be needed in the future. Also, what a touch from Bruno for the assist. Simply brilliant.

Fred Exposed Yet Again

The traits required for a defensive midfielder are passing, tackling, positioning, and work rate. Fred can neither pass, nor tackle, nor has any sort of positioning sense. He does work very hard, but that just isn’t enough in the modern game. A fluid counter-attack from Everton yes, but one that should have been prevented in the Everton half itself by Fred. Immediately afterwards he was taken off as well. Why does he start in the first place?

What was Gray Doing in The Bundesliga?

While he still has to prove himself, all the evidence points in the direction that he will become an Everton fan-favourite quite soon. Having started the season superbly with 3 goals and an assist, he has already established himself as an integral part of this Everton team.
