NFL UK football returns to London this month after a one-year absence. The Atlanta Falcons take on the New York Jets on Sunday, October 10 and the Jacksonville Jaguars square off against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, October 17. Both games will be played at the award-winning Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

State-of-the-Art Complex

The £1 billion, state-of-the art complex in north London is home to the Tottenham Hotspurs Football Club. Formed in 1882, the Spurs are one of the oldest football (soccer) clubs in England. They were one of the founding teams in the Premier League, the highest division in the English football league system.

The stadium, which opened in 2019, is the first one outside North America that’s purpose-built to host NFL games. It has separate, top-of-the-line facilities for both the Spurs and the NFL. The league is contracted to play at least two games there each year for ten years, and it’s seen as the potential home of a future London-based NFL franchise.
