Hey y’all! Here at CNG Analytics we’ve been constructing weekly fantasy football lineups to show what our state of the art quantum and classical algorithms would suggest if we entered the Draft Kings lineup challenge:

Check out weeks 1 and 2 here:

So, without further ado, let’s see what the algos suggested this week. We’ll start, as usual, with the classical algorithm (which is on a two week losing streak):

Lineup generated by Classical Algorithm

Conversely, the quantum lineup suggested taking a different strategy:

Lineup Generated by Quantum Algorithm

Unlike last week, there aren’t any real patterns between the quantum and classical algorithm in terms of the players we’re selecting. We see that the quantum algorithm suggests spending less on TE; while the classical algorithm is more balanced but is depending on Derek Carr continuing his hot start.

Check in with us next week to see which algorithm did better!

UPDATE!

Results for this week are in… and the classical algorithm wins for the first time! It was a close contest, the Quantum algorithm scored 79.12 points while the classical algorithm scored 83.7 points. Both were victim to poor receiver player (from TE and WR positions). Check in next week to see how we do next week!
