And while basketball cards have consistently been among the most popular cards since the late 80s, vintage basketball cards don’t have the same allure or the same history as baseball. I mean, of course. Do we even need to say much here? He’s MJ. He’s the GOAT (please, no MJ vs Lebron debate here! There are both phenomenal. Let’s move on). Not only that, but his early years were before basketball cards really began to take off. His 1986 Fleer “rookie” card the most iconic card in the history of basketball cards, and one of only a few that could be considered for that title in all of sports cards.
