NFL Week 6: Draft Kings Fantasy Lineup
Author: Elijah Cavan, CSO at CNG Analytics Inc.
By now you guys know the drill; we’re entering the DraftKings 1 million dollar lineup challenge using our in house algorithms here at CNG analytics. But we’re changing it up this week- we’re going to compare our lineup to the optimal lineup generated by FanDuel. Check out the previous posts here:
Alright, without further ad let’s start comparing! We’ll start with the lineup generated by the classical algorithm:
Stafford and Kelce are the big names, but we’re also hoping for a big game for my Colts against the lowly Texans and it would be nice if Joe Burrow tossed it deep for Chase to flag down. Next, the fanduel lineup. I had to lock in 2 players so I chose Patrick Mahomes and Austin Eckler:
It’s a strong lineup; the algo basically punted on defense and TE, but grabbed some nice players assuming injury luck goes well in Swift and Thielen.
Finally, let’s see what the quantum algorithm gave us:
We’re hoping Herbert has another signature game this year; and we’re top heavy by hoping we can get enough production from Cook and Kelce to carrying the team.
That’s all for now, check out the article next week to see which lineup won!
