Meet TOP Network Ambassador: Milan Hajduk

Welcome to a new series sharing the stories, passion and vision of our TOP ambassadors. Let’s meet Milan Hajduk, TOP Network Ambassador in Austria.
Milan is one of the first ambassadors to join TOP Network. He has a master’s degree in advanced computer science and clinical psychology. He is currently a senior IT systems manager in an international bank and an active blockchain/crypto enthusiast.
Why and how did you get involved in crypto/blockchain?
I started to take an active part in blockchain related technology roughly 4 years ago, when I realized the potential of this technology, the transparency and freedom that it can bring to people. Also, it was a lot of fun for me to play with new, emerging technology. I was and I still am curious.
I started with mining as I was genuinely attracted to the inner working of the systems. Then I gradually started trading and accumulating coins/tokens on exchanges.
I consider myself a holder more than a trader. I only hold tokens from projects that are bringing value, projects with original ideas and implementation. I never invest to ICOs without existing product. Crypto space is plagued by copycats and useless projects (and SCAMS) that only have empty promises. I’m taking part in different projects that fulfill the criteria I have for holding the tokens/coins. TOP network is one of the best examples of such projects, bringing on the table something that was never done before. I’m happy to lend a hand and use my years of experience in IT to help them move forward.
Where do you think crypto/blockchain will be in the future?
If I can use an analogy on time of the year, crypto is in January. Everything is frozen and covered by snow. But soon the snow will start to melt gradually in the warming embrace of the sun. This process of de-freezing will take the majority of this year. Unfortunately, I don’t think we will reach full spring bloom in course of 2019. Maybe we will see some greens by the end of this year.
The technology needs to mature enough to be usable by average people without technical background. This is one of the biggest challenge crypto is facing now.
In the next 3 years, I believe crypto will reach mass adoption stage as more and more people will get involved and understand what this technology can and will do for them. In 10 years, we will laugh about this time, remembering it as a romantic epoch of blockchain era. We will have a generation of people that will not remember a time with crypto/blockchain not being a technology used on a daily basis.
What do you want to see in a decentralized future?
As the motto of French Revolution says: Liberté, égalité, fraternité! (“liberty, equality, fraternity”) We are living in a revolutionary time, most of the people just don’t understand it yet. We are setting up new standards where nobody can bend the rules for their own profit, and this will ultimately set humankind free, break the borders and make us citizens of the world. I honestly believe that implementation of TOP network as a decentralized communication layer can play a massive role in this process, bringing the much-needed glue that can bind things together.
Why did you choose to become a TOP Network ambassador?
I came across TOP Network while reading Reddit and Bitcointalk forum. These are places where you can find the latest information about what is going on in crypto. TOP network has enormous potential, massive ambitions that are backed by years of experience of founders and the development team. If anybody can achieve blockchain 4.0 implementation, it is TOP network!
After looking more into the project and talking to a few people, the decision to get involved as ambassador was a no brainer for me. Massive potential backed up by experience and hard work. Can’t wait to see things to come. It’s a great honor and privilege for me to be chosen to help TOP network grow and reach its potential.
What are your expectations of TOP Network?
From TOP Network, I do expect nothing less than the disruption of existing paradigm in communications, and an integration of other existing and emerging technologies. I believe that TOP Network will become the major infrastructure that allows people to interact in a free and decentralized way without control and censorship.
