Transfer Assets from Ethereum to TOP-EVM

1. Connecting Your Wallet:
You can connect either MetaMask or Topia Wallet. The Topia Wallet supports the TOP EVM shard and will generate a new address format starting with T6xxx.

2. Initiating the Transfer:
Transfer any number of tokens to the TOP chain. This process will incur an ETH gas fee. If your transaction is interrupted, you can track it via the Transaction Tracker.

3. Claiming Your Assets:
Once the status changes from “Pending” to “Claim,” you can claim your assets on the TOP chain. The Telos Foundation will cover the gas fee for the claim process.

4. Transfer Time:
Transfers from Ethereum to TOP-EVM typically take a few hours.

Transfer Process:
Transfers of ETH, USDT, or USDC from TOP-EVM to Ethereum take longer because we prioritize security, ensuring a safe transfer. A minimum fee of 1% of the transferred amount is charged, with a minimum of approximately 2 USDT per transfer.

Important Notes

If you encounter an interrupted or incomplete cross-chain transaction, it is most likely due to network issues.
All cross-chain transactions require two steps: first, locking the token on the source chain, and then later claiming the asset on the target chain.
