TOP Network and Blockcloud Form Strategic Partnership To Advance Technological Integrations and Community Development
TOP Network, a full-stack decentralized cloud communications network, and BlockCloud, a blockchain-based advanced TCP/IP protocol, have entered into a strategic partnership to seek areas of potential collaboration. The two entities will work together in the areas of mutually beneficial product integrations and community development.

Blockcloud’s platform is specifically geared toward highly dynamic networks such as those involved with Internet Of Things (IoT) systems. The Internet was not built with the Internet of Things and other dynamic networks in mind. IoT applications such as self driving cars, smart homes, and others need a scalable infrastructure that provides very reliable connectivity, high security, aligned incentives, and rapid device discovery. The current TCP/IP internet protocols alone are insufficient to meet the needs of dynamic IoT networks. Blockcloud is addressing these issues by developing an advanced network stack that utilizes blockchain technology to improve upon the existing TCP/IP protocols.
