Technical Progress
1. TOP ID, which is a digital asset management system using a Web2 account system, is now entering the formal development phase. Performance bottlenecks have been found in the tests on the weak nodes of the mainnet specifications: the performance of zero-knowledge proof cannot meet the expectations, and both the business and the underlying need to be optimized, and the overall progress is expected to be delayed by two weeks.
2. To cooperate with the ecological business, the TOP team needs to optimize the storage and data trimming of the TOP main chain for ultra-large cold accounts. At present, the developers have completed the preliminary research, and the next stage will be to discuss the architecture and determine the top-level design.
3. The TOP mainnet version 1.12.0 has been released, most of the nodes have been successfully upgraded, and the mainnet is operating normally.
4. The TOP mainnet version 1.13.0 has been completed and is currently undergoing testing and acceptance. It is expected to be released in the middle to late May. This version is designed to strengthen the security and the foundation of TOP ecology applications.

TOP nodes are an important part of the TOP mainnet, providing computing, storage, routing, and other services for the network and obtaining network rewards by providing these services. TOP mainnet is a truly decentralized and permissionless network, and it is also very easy to become a node. For more details, please refer to here.
The node reputation score is one of the important indicators for assessing node status. At the beginning of the mainnet launch, the node reputation score started from 0.1. Now, nodes joining the TOP mainnet start with a reputation score of 0.33. If they keep their nodes online normally, they can reach the highest reputation score of 1 within 3 months. This adjustment can help more new nodes to quickly participate in the work and get rewards.
