TOP Mainnet
According to TOPScan data, there are currently 699 miners and nearly 1.5 billion voting deposits on the TOP mainnet chain, the mining reward is about 210 million TOP. At present, TOP mainnet mining is still in the bonus period. The earlier you join the mining, the higher profit you can get. With the expansion of the TOP ecosystem and the rise of currency prices later, the long-term miners in the TOP mainnet will gain immeasurable benefits.
Technological progress
TOP Chain
1. Development and testing of the first release candidate (v1.2.1) for the major version upgrade of the mainnet has been completed. Features such as fast synchronization, cross-shard receipt deduplication performance, cross-shard receipt reliability drop, and cross-table workload statistics have been optimized and all have been integrated into the main network.
2. The optimization of other items of the mainnet upgrade, such as TPS, block and transaction data size, and data storage space under small nodes and small memory, is currently in the final stage of stabilization and is scheduled to be completed in v1.2.2.
3. The TOP API-Service has completed most of the interface development and will be released with the official version of v1.2.3, which will provide functions and interfaces similar to those of ETH Infura.
4. The code audit of the new module of the main chain by a third-party agency will be completed soon, and all the problems currently found have been solved, and the complete closing is expected in mid-May according to the current progress.
5. The recruitment of TOP main chain has been progressing slowly in the past 1 month. Talents who can really do original blockchain development or have independently developed core blockchain modules are still scarce and talents are hard to find.
