Technical Progress
1. The V project in TOP ecology has completed the integration of 4 third-party games on the game platform, and the economic model mechanism has been completed. There are still some challenges to be solved in the process. V project focuses on the construction of a decentralized entertainment community.
2. TOP ID, which uses a Web2 account system to manage digital assets, encountered security challenges in the integration into the V project. In the technical docking, it was found that there is a security risk in the connection between the Web2 account system and the Web3 AA contract system. It is estimated that it will take at least two weeks to solve this problem and protect the user experience of Web2 under the premise of ensuring security.
3. The DAO governance contract used to support the V project, and the project party have completed the requirements analysis and alignment together. The TOP team will enter the development stage next week, and the overall delivery is expected to take 3–4 weeks.
4. TOP mainnet version 1.13.0 has been fully accepted and officially launched. This version focuses on security and strengthening the foundation of TOP ecological applications. Currently, most nodes have been upgraded successfully and the main network is operating normally.
About Firewall Settings for The Node Server
TOP Network has officially upgraded to version 1.13.0. During the node upgrade process, several nodes in the mainnet were found to have failed consensus work. During the investigation process, it was found that some node server firewalls were not set up or port settings were incomplete. This situation will directly affect data not being synchronized, thus causing consensus not to be in place, reputation score to drop and income to decrease.
In the process of setting up the firewall, please set up the rules for the inbounding network. The specific ports are as follows:
- TCP: 19081, 19082, 19085, 8080
- UDP: 9000, 9001
