TOP Chain

1. The integration progress of the latest version of BitVPN and the TOP mainnet: The main functions of the V1.3.9 version complete the joint adjustment of the front and back ends. Now it is the official stage of the testing and tuning stage.

2. The contract framework of the side chain unifies the Source, Target, and Confirm Action models. The new model can support synchronous contracts and express asynchronous contracts.

3. Progress of v1.2.4: The thread and lock model of xvledger has been optimized to complete the acceptance, and the cost of thread switching and the lock has been reduced a lot.

4. Progress of dynamic cropping of TOP node data: BlockStore’s new automatic cropping scheme has completed technical verification, and the I/O cost of automatic data cropping will be significantly reduced.

5. Significant progress has been made in transaction query optimization. For transactions, edge nodes (Edge) and full-nodes (Full-Node) are responsible for hot query capabilities, while Archive nodes provide cold query capabilities. Consensus and audit nodes focus on consensus and contracts, which are good for improving TPS and user experience.
