Technical Progress
- Web3 Framework Part 1: The first phase of reconstruction for the Web3 gaming framework, integrated with the TOP SDK, has been completed. Its core functionality is now available for use by other third-party ecosystem projects. The remaining features will be integrated in subsequent phases.
- Web3 Framework Part 2: TOP DID has completed development and passed all testing and acceptance checks. It is now available for integration into third-party ecosystem projects.
- Web3 Framework Part 3: A cross-multi-chain universal DAO governance system built on TOP chain has completed development on both the underlying TOP chain and contract layers. The development team has finished self-testing. The focus of work in October will be on testing, acceptance, and deployment.
- TOP Mainnet Version 1.14.0: Topia Wallet now supports the Ledger hardware wallet and has been accepted and released. TOP chain’s support for Ethereum’s “person_sign” function has been successfully verified, but the testing and acceptance progress has experienced some delay, and it is expected to be postponed by one week.
TOP Indonesia Event
On October 2nd, TOP team joined forces with the local Indonesian community in Jakarta to host an offline event, bringing together many Web3 industry partners to explore the Indonesian Web3 market and public chain ecosystem development. The gathering also attracted the participation of Indonesian blockchain media, exchanges, and the local community.
Types of Nodes
Nodes are computers or servers that provide computing, storage, and routing capabilities in the TOP Network. Different networks correspond to different types of nodes, such as edge nodes of edge networks. Since a computer or server can join different networks, it can serve as multiple types of nodes.
There are five types of miners in TOP Network — edge, validator, advance, archive, and exchange node.
The advance miner can serve as two different types of nodes in different networks simultaneously: validator and auditor.
