Attio Secures $23.5M Investment To Construct Advanced CRM Platform
CRM Software Developer Attio Raises $235 Million In Venture Capital
Nicolas Sharp, while a partner at a VC firm, took on the project of finding customer relationship management (CRM) software. It was “a nightmare”, so he built his own CRM platform called Attio. Founded in 2019, it quickly gained over 2,000 customers and raised $31.2 million in capital. Attio allows users to sort contacts and companies with profiles, timelines of interactions and conversations; they can also connect other data sources through an API. Attio’s main competitors are Gameball and Glia valued at over $1 billion; its main differentiators are performance & price ($119/user/month). The company plans to launch real-time reporting feature & expanded workflow automation soon. Its philosophy is flexibility & adaptability as many startups still run on spreadsheets for as long as possible due to current state of CRM dominated by one company for 20+ years now — Salesforce.
