Writing Guidelines
To submit a story to Top Quotes, your story will need to follow the guidelines set out below. Failure to abide by these guidelines will result in your submission being denied.
1) All quotes must be sourced.
Any quote being published must include the name (first and last) of the original author, you can also cite the character, book, or organization.
2) All Quotes Must Include An Image And Text.
We will not accept stories that list quotes without visuals. When posting visuals ensure you have the correct permission to use them. We suggest visiting Pexels or UpSplash to find background images and using a program like Canva, Photoshop, or Pixlr to add the quotes to the images.
3) Keep The Number Of Quotes Per Story Between 5 and 10.
Stories posted to Top Quotes should be unique and specific. If you have more than 10 quotes to share, chances are they can be split between two or more topics. If you have fewer than 5 quotes the reader may not gain enough value from your share.
4) Keep Titles Specific
Make sure titles contain the number of quotes you are sharing, and what the quotes are about. Don’t create a title like “The Top Quotes Of All Time”; instead use a descriptive title like “7 Quotes All Entrepreneurs Need To Read”.
