What can be more exciting than achieving a GOOD rating from the student whose doubt you have just resolved? Amazing feeling, isn’t it? This autonomy of success strengthening more by complements and feedback received from the student. This turns into disappointment when receiving OKAY / BAD / NON-RATING from the user. Although, not a tutor’s mistake always!

Let’s escalate through a few classic tips for quality interaction and solution preparation. This can help you improvise the solution and/or interaction with the users so that you can deliver your content/ solution effectively. This may offer you an opportunity to relish the experience of achieving a Good rating highlighted with compliments.

You may have resolved the doubt well and still not received the rating you deserved. Or still waiting to maximize your doubts rating result. What do you need to do? Practice more to correctly solve doubts on our platform, by doing as many questions/ doubts as you can under the right conditions.

Assuming you are already working regularly with us, timing yourself, and writing solutions (in legible handwriting, of course) then you are already on track.

What next?

Analyze as much as you can about what is required in the asked question. Pay attention to the action words in the questions. State, define, explain, give an outline, compare, prove, find… think what is exactly required in the solution for the doubt asked. They will help you know how to answer in detail and still be precise.

Do a minute dissection of the question asked. Look for the keywords in the question, keenly think what it is about and what is the concept behind the questions. Do not dump whatever you find on the internet over your chat.

Figure out the correct sequence of an answer to be provided. Always remember, it is better than nothing. If you have a strong hold on the subject, and especially if you are well prepared, you can write exact answers and solve the problem asked in the doubt session.

Be concise and precise. Do not write too much of a solution, this would not help you to gain a good compliment at all, for extra points that you are providing. It doesn’t matter how much you know if a question doesn’t ask for it.
Get to know your student’s potential towards understanding the solution that you are about to provide. Find out in each doubt section the approach towards the solution and depth in explanation required. Understand the REQUIRED principle/ concept needs to be provided to the student.

Make the most of your teaching expertise. Help students to explain only what they need to know. Make it more relevant and interesting.

Evolve more over your communication skills. A better treatment towards a student. A proper concern towards their study will make you a winner for the students’ patience and ratings too.

Listen to the student and figure out the approach they already know towards the doubt. Student’s would be delighted to see that you are thinking in such a proactive way about their study or doubt.

A coarse connection lies in between reaching the student’s aspiration and correctly elaborating the solution for the student. The organizational structuring of the solution, up to the point detailing of the solution, communicating your explanation to a student at the right moment while chatting helps you more.

And at last, provide an original, quality and thoughtful solution to the student. This would save a lot of yours and student’s time that you could waste by trying to search for the solution over the internet. Try to reach your own potential!!
