#02 Sonar VR Experience review 10/10
Today I’m reviewing Sonar VR experience. I must hand it I expected much less since it was made back in 2015 and have to admit that after experiencing Sonar it I’m naming it as the hidden gem. Surprisingly it was made back in 2015 September so it’s two years old and it is more immersive than most VR experiences available in 2017. Guess VR proves that content is always the king even though most VR experiences are relying heavily on graphics alone while focusing less on the content.

If you are a fan of Prometheus type of movies, you will just devour Sonar experience with love! Otherwise, I still recommend trying it out as it’s amazing what is achievable in VR and what emotions can be provoked just by immersing yourself into a short story.
From the first moment immersing myself into Sonar VR experience, I felt only one regretful thing — that VR at its best is still not here. I cannot wait when VR movies are at high resolution then again I probably will jump out of the window to run away from the scary experiences, and we don’t want that right?
So why Sonar experience was so immersive even though graphically it’s not the best experience out there? The answer lies in audio. In VR the graphics have to improve drastically to match our available 4k resolutions however the sound is already delivering top experience unless we compete with spatial sound but that can be forgiven for 2015 production.
I’m giving 10 out 10 stars to Sonar VR experience simply because it was made back in 2015 with technological disadvantages and yet the immersion gives good shivers. I highly recommend trying out Sonar VR.
