Morning Hatha Flow, Boomer Yoga, Rise and Shine, Deep Release Yin, and Toronto Throwdown

There is a packed line-up of events for Toronto fitness fanatics this week for those of you who like to work up a good sweat so how about we take a look at what’s in store?

Morning Hatha Flow

Living City Health will be holding their popular Morning Hatha Flow classes every weekday excluding Thursdays next week. The class aims to building a connection between mind, body and breathing and is perfect for those suffering from bad posture.

The classes will be held at 7:00am and will last about an hour. Perfect for everybody from beginners and upwards. Everybody is welcome to this one. Tickets can be ordered at Eventbite.

Boomer Yoga

A yoga class designed specifically for the over-50s. Ideal for improving co-ordination and balance, this is a superb workout without being overly taxing.

This class is held on Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week, starting at 8:00am and lasting for about an hour. Tickets can be ordered here.

Rise and Shine Beginner’s Class

The perfect early morning workout, this class is created to ensure that your muscles getting a decent workout without exhausting your body for the upcoming day. Simply reenergize with this Hatha-based class which is open for students of all levels.

The class is held every Tuesday between 8:00am and 9:00am. Be sure to join in! (Order tickets)

Deep Release Yin

For those who prefer a slightly more intense yoga session, the Deep Release Yin class focuses on improving posture and circulation through moderately challenging exercises. Again all are welcome, regardless of ability, and this class is perfect for improving the body’s overall health and function.

Classes are held for an hour at 7:30pm, making them perfect for releasing stress after a busy work day. (Order Tickets)

Toronto Throwdown

This one will really get the blood pumping. The Toronto Throwdown is an event dedicated to existing martial artists, providing them with a forum to practice and share their skills amongst fellow combatants in a safe and friendly environment.

Pre-existing experience is a requirement here but it promises to be a great session at Zinger Academy Martial Arts. The event runs for three hours between 6:00pm and 9:00pm on Friday so be sure to book your ticket in advance. Reserve your space here.
