I live in an “up for grabs” riding, Etobicoke Lakeshore, once held by Jean Augustine and lost to the Conservatives by Michael Ignatieff. I voted Liberal in the advance polls but I would have voted NDP if that candidate was ahead. I don’t know that this idea will be publicly supported by the parties or the candidates but it may gain traction with the voters in these ridings. I like the fact that this a voter initiative and I liked your point on the CBC that you are issue — not party — motivated.

There is no likely chance of a majority so we’ll have a coalition government and we’ll have four years to decide who’d be the best leader for the 2018 election.
