New Year Greetings!

Happy New Year

TotalFootball would like to wish all its readers and subscribers a very Happy New Year 2022.

2021 was an eventful year for football, be it COVID-related postponements, a brilliant EURO2020, whose going ahead alone was a magnificent feat or Messi winning a record 7th Ballon d’Or and a first Copa America.

This year the paperback edition of Superlative Football was also released, which features revised versions of some of the blog’s most popular posts.

TotalFootball aspires to be the thinker’s guide to the beautiful game. With this ethos in mind, I’ve tried to post on current topics; while collating more eclectic ones in the GoalPost series.

I like to thank everyone for their readership and I look forward to your continued patronage of the blog in the New Year as well. As always, comments, suggestions and feedback are most welcome — and can be shared via the Facebook page.

With Best Regards

Prateek
