Totle V2 is Live
Lower prices, higher success rate, improved developer experience, and more.
We’re excited to announce the launch of Totle V2 today! This update ushers in a new and improved backend that we’ve been working tirelessly on for months. We wrote all about the updates users and partners could expect back here. As a refresher, some of the key points are below:
- Everything is swap. There will be no more buys/sells. Swaps are simpler and will include one or more trades, consisting of a collection of main and backup orders.
- Base currencies. Instead of always needing to go through ETH, we are introducing new base currencies, such as WETH, DAI, MKR, or any other asset that could potentially improve trade rates.
- Auto-Swapped Payments. Enable users to send and receive the token of their preference without them needing to coordinate with the other party. This creates a seamless payment experience.
- Error reporting. In an effort to improve the developer experience, we are changing how we handle errors in our Primary Contract response by generating developer-friendly errors.

Why now?
Launching Totle V2 is an important next step of our mission to provide the strongest and most reliable single access point to all DEX liquidity. We are revolutionizing the way partners interact with DEXs by making ourselves the “DEXperts”. Totle integrates with and understands all of the DEX protocols so partners can focus exclusively on their products and not worry about sourcing the largest amount of decentralized liquidity and most competitive prices for their users.
What’s next?
Totle will soon autonomously handle partial order fills! This will guarantee that orders are not only acquired at the best price, but also acquired with the best combination of orders!
