I could have taken this Tuesday off from writing but I decided to continue this streak of weekly content. (It also helped that Robert [me] from the past already wrote this down as a topic many weeks ago.)
During this holiday season, we will exchange gifts with friends and family. Tis’ the season for giving they say. “It is better to give than to receive” is something they also say. So, with your life and your talents, what are you giving to the world?
The time you put into your craft should be time spent to better prepare yourself to assist others in some way. The better I become as a designer, the more value I can provide. Marie Forleo says that “the world needs that special gift that only you have.” That special gift must be practiced and nurtured for the greater purpose it is meant for.
Your presence and skills affect more than you will ever realize. Your particular puzzle piece could be the very one someone was missing. I love knowing something I have said, written, or designed has had a positive impact.
Learn to recognize opportunities to pour into the lives of others with the gift(s) you possess.
As I sit in this airport about to board my plane, I would love to hear your thoughts. Leave a response below. And if you enjoyed reading this, click that little recommend button below.
