We enjoyed our movie- or TV-themed Halloween party
Who would say that so many famous people will come to our party? That Jesus will be talking with Obelix? That Catwoman will be friend with Lara Croft? That the pirate will be drinking with Dracula? That Morticia and Gomez Addams will be dancing with Otík from My Sweet Little Village?
Last year, we were “flirting with the idea” that we all dressed up for Halloween as movie characters. But, we chose the prohibition theme — mafia style, jazz, elegant ladies. Although his year… we chose movie & TV shows characters for our Halloween Party 2018.
What costumes did we wear?
Scary, action, funny… there was everything. Our project manager Lukas came as Obelix (yes, he missed Asterix), CEO Richard was a stylish pirate, our marketing manager Michaela bet on Lara Croft costume and the programmer & manager Tomas arrived as a Roman warrior.
UX/UI designer Milan surprised us and came as Jesus. Another designer Lukas bet on the Jason Voorhees costume from the Friday the 13th. Our CEO Matej came with his girlfriend Maria as Gomez and Morticia Addams. CEO Michal introduced himself as the Captain “Hawkeye” Pierce from the M*A*S*H novels. His girlfriend — and one of our creative team — Klaudia was Daenerys Targaryen from the Game of Thrones series.
Well, it’s not the end! Drupal developer Marek came as a Mexican celebrating their Day of Dead, our project manager Veronika came as a mysterious Catwoman, programmer Dušan turned into the Joker who is Batman’s archnemesis, UX/UI designer Matej bet on the scary — but in his words sexi — monster mask, programmer Matej came as Dracula and developer Tomas was Rick Sanchez from the animated science fiction sitcom Rick and Morty. Our programmer Mišo presented himself as the Otík from My Sweet Little Village and Viktor and his girlfriend Daniela came as a renaissance king with his queen.
The pirate and Jesus were drinking together a blessed wine. It’s a mystery about what they could talk together.
Catwoman, Lara Croft, Velma Dinkley from the Scooby-Doo… we caught them all together.
Dracula and Joker as friends? Isn't it weird?
Obelix was also dancing with the Mexican in the day of the dead costume.
And the winner of the best mask contest is…
In the middle of the night, when all the masks were introduced, we launched the secret vote for the best mask. There were 2 winners — the Obelix and the Otík from My Sweet Little Village.
Jesus also blessed their victory.
Our Halloween Party 2018 was amazing, so we’re already looking forward to Halloween 2019. We’re sure to see you again in another costume!
