Meet the cofounders of Touchabl Pictures

We are a young, promising technology startup company redefining how AI can improve the lives and livelihood of every day (ordinary) people. We’ve been working with AI, underground, in the last 3 years but our big success came in the last 12 months.

Today, we boast of a cool (but extremely useful) AI technology and a growing, vibrant community of stakeholders and people in the fashion value chain. To make this experience even more interesting for fashion lovers (buyers and sellers) across the world, we are currently aggregating and indexing over 1 million fashion products across different categories and demography across the globe.

Without any doubt, this is a BIG adventure that requires a team. Therefore, I’m personally inviting you to join us in taking these baby steps towards a great and bright future together.

About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic;

  • Business Development Manager, BDM
  • Product Designer (UX)
  • Visual Designer (UI)
  • React Native Developer
  • Python Developer

As BDM

You will help us grow and expand our user base of fashion brands, stakeholders, fashion designers, fashion retailers, stylists, fashion models, make up professionals, fashion photographers, fashion buyers, stockists, boutique owners, and other clientele in the fashion value chain. While the CEO will be the front of the company, you will work together with him to create and apply an effective sales strategy.

Your primary goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

As UX, UI, Developers

You will help us enhance our current products and future products. We have a web of consumer and business products we are yet to build on top of our core AI system, your primary goal will be to design, develop, and ship hit apps and software services back-to-back.

Trust me, we have lots of complimentary products you will be proud you’re part of the team that built them. As an example, there’s a really cool product in our ideas pipeline called “Fingertip”… hmmm, I know what you’re thinking right now.

Key Responsibilities

BDM

  • Perform market research to identify new opportunities and engage with executives to establish strategies for pursuing those new opportunities.
  • Develop and improve strategies on user acquisition and retention
  • Develop growth strategies focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers
  • Develop and deliver pitches for potential investors.
  • Increase overall sales efficiency and profitability through excellent salesmanship
  • Build and grow landlord and property managers relationships.
  • Recruit and manage team of Sales Executives.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to acquire customers.
  • Aggressively scout and develop partnerships both local and international

UX, UI, Developers

  • Develop cool, beautiful and function designs
  • Develop new user-facing features
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
  • Assure that all users inputs are validated before submission
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Requirements

Experience

BDM

  • Provable (or measurable) working experience as a business development executive or related role.
  • Experience in fundraising will be a plus.

UX, UI, Developers

  • Provable (or measurable) working experience as a designer or developer or related role.

Skills and Abilities

BDM

  • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing etc.
  • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development.
  • Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure and MS Office or Mac Pages
  • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
  • Proven (or provable) sales track record
  • Market knowledge
  • (Optional) Any academic degree in Business Administration or relevant field.

Work Environment

  • Work from where you are — Remote [but plan to travel occasionally]
