Goa is a favorite destination for me. I can go any number of times and still enjoy it like the first time.

This trip was a wee bit different though. For our family trips, my husband and I hatch the plans together. Where to stay, what to do, where to eat — everything is based on discussion. This time though, my husband said he’d book our stay, and refused to tell me anything else. “It’s a surprise,” he said. I love surprises. I will go to great lengths to help the other party keep the surprise because I like to be — well — surprised!

We boarded our flight from the exquisitely beautiful Terminal 2 (T2) of the Bangalore airport. T2 has won so many awards since its inauguration, I am proud to bits. Even the flowers and plants maintained inside the terminal are so vibrant and pretty.
