Disclaimer: The statement ‘You can see so many different sights in an hour’ is subject to traffic. Bangalore’s traffic is notorious. You may not have moved much in an hour and therefore your scenery may not have changed.

It is considered auspicious to start any activity by first calling upon various Gods for their blessings. Naturally, my cover photo for this post had to be Gods. Looking resplendent in bright colors, the cover photo has Lord Hanuman and Lord Rama waving to passersby at the entrance of a temple. They were so eye-catching. I worked at the speed of Mercury to unlock my phone and click this picture. Not too bad, eh?

Photo of Karnataka’s state legislature building called the Vidhana Soudha.

This beauty is Vidhana Soudha — our state legislature building. This shaky photo was all I could manage while zipping past it in an autorickshaw. I am joking — we cannot zip anywhere in Bangalore. Yet, we were moving fast enough to prevent a better capture. The building is much bigger and is an architectural marvel. When you visit Bangalore, take time to stand in front of it and drink in its beauty!
