A different-looking building in the distance!

The area was known as Lambehitha in 1062 — “landing place for lambs”. Then in 1255, Lambeth.

I walked along from Lambeth North tube station.

Until I came to Archbishop’s Park.

It was part of the grounds belonging to Lambeth Palace where the Archbishops of Canterbury have lived since the 13th century.
