Why Donald Trump Won the U.S. Election
It’s simple
How could a convicted felon win the United States election? It’s baffling to comprehend, or is it?
Donald Trump has been a polarizing figure ever since he ran for office. You either love him or hate his guts. He won for a few key reasons which I’ll outline below.
Personally, since I’m Canadian, I really don’t care who governs the United States, but the election of Donald Trump tells me a few things.
A Divided Nation
The United States is not united. It’s never been all that united and now, it it might never be. The states have two trains of thought the progressive side (Dems) and the traditional side (GOP). That division is growing and you have two “countries” that can’t get along with each other.
There needs to be a figure like JFK again. He was able to bring the two sides into the middle. Now? Forget it. Both sides have simply gone hardline into their camps and are NOT going to budge.
Us vs. them
Both Trump and Harris are guilty of fostering this division and it’s why the states are in such a mess. If change is to occur then both sides need to meet in the middle again and work together.
