Why Heavy Drinking Does Not Make You Cool Bro
A lesson in stupidity
As human beings, we tend to take part in risky behavior to seek approval of others. When it comes to the world of men, they are more likely than women to take part in this type of behavior because they want the approval of other men.
This is one of the main reasons why men will get addicted to alcohol. They seek the approval of other men doing the same thing.
When I was in high school we used to have this game. we would take a 2 L pop bottle, cut it in half, and fill the other half with beer. We quickly consumed the beer from the opening in the bottle at the other end.
If you examine this on a deeper level you will see how incredibly insane it is and how risky it is. I used to get incredibly drunk doing this because I would be slamming down two or three beers at a time without any pause in my drinking.
The Bro Attitude
Men will drink heavily to impress other men. The fact that you can slam back several beers and still stand is seen as an accomplishment by other men. We know by Health standards that this is crazy because of the impacts of alcohol on the body.
