We, at UCL Entrepreneurs Society’s VC Fund, fuel early-stage start-ups run by UCL students or alumni with equity-free seed capital.
In March 2021, we made a £2,000 equity-free investment in VOLVE.
So, here is why we believe in VOLVE’s potential.

The idea:

VOLVE is founded by an UCL alumni and is on a mission to accelerate engineering. They are creating a workflow symbiosis between human engineers that use their creativity to set problems and AI as a computational force to solve them. They developed the first drone engineered by AI in partnership with Autodesk.

Team, Technology, Traction, Impact:

The product showed strong defensibility and impressive technical versatility despite the early stage. A large addressable market and macro industry drivers also highlighted the potential for fast scale-up and consistent future growth. In addition to a passionate team with strong expertise within the field of computer science and AI, the impressive early traction in the relatively nascent drone market was particularly important to the final decision.
