About the Author & Bloom Doom Button

I am a San Francisco-based art student, interested in the effect we, as human beings, are having on our local ecosystems. Scientists in the global community agree that we have a limited amount of time during which we may be able to reverse the effects of global climate change, and that failing to do so will be catastrophic for our planet, and for our survival. Toxic algae blooms are only one symptom of this global illness, and through aggressive study and environmental policy change, we may have some hope of a treatment and cure.
