Toybox Updates Galore.
Jono and I are truly excited to release at least 4 bushels of new Toybox features for y’all. For those who’d love just a quick update on what was launched:
- 🆕 Brand new UI for leaving comments and fixing design bugs
- 📱 Create and save mobile, tablet, and desktop edits
- 👪 Select parent <div>’s
- 🏗️ Spankin’ new website
An editor that doesn’t suck (we hope).
We heard ya. Editing and commenting on Toybox was 💩. Jono and I use it everyday and we were going crazy. So, we made some big ole improvements. Now, anywhere you click, our friendly, fun, and frankly fetching editor will pop-on-up to greet your smiling face. Leave a comment, change colors, tweak type styles, squeeze spacing (couldn’t think of a better alliteration) — basically go crazy!
Responding to responsive(ness)
I know what you’re thinking — responsive websites?? Who makes those?? Answer: everybody. Well, you’ll be pleased to know that we now support mobile, tablet, and desktop breakpoints! See how your web app will look on an iPhone XSMAXSRXSRSX and make the changes you need at said resolutions. Honestly — it’s great. We’re psyched and you’re psyched.
The whole fam is welcome
Children, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents — all <divs> are available. Before, it was super hard to go from the current selected element to its parent <divs> which was truly frustrating. We added a neat little way to reach them now. UX-pattern-credit goes to Webflow on this one — and if you haven’t checked them out you should! We just built our new site using Webflow and it’s dynamite.
New site
We launched a new site! Huzzah! New copy, imagery and ya know — website things. If you’re feeling adventurous — feel free to take a peek. Also, (on a completely random note) speaking of daredevil-type-humans, check out this trailer for Free Solo.
