Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Carbice is the newest member of the Toyota AI Ventures portfolio. Founded by CEO Dr. Baratunde Cola, Carbice began commercial development in 2016. The primary product is Carbice® Carbon, a composite made of recycled aluminum and aligned carbon nanotubes with tremendously high heat-conducting ability. It dissipates heat away from product packaging, thereby lowering device temperatures, lengthening product lifetimes, and improving safety and reliability. Carbice® Carbon is currently being used in satellites and a variety of terrestrial applications and environments.

Director of Customer Success (Atlanta, GA - or remote)
Carbice is seeking a director of customer success who will be responsible for U.S.- and Europe-based revenue. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with the Carbice management team to ensure strong account management for all U.S. customers, working with operations to align on deliverables, and coordinating with the team to drive customer delivery and satisfaction. You will also lend support to the Europe customer field team to help align customer requirements to the operations team and deliver to European accounts.
Carbice is a fast-growing company and this role is intended to develop over time. The right candidate will have the opportunity to eventually transition from an individual contributor role into a senior executive position, managing worldwide sales. You will work closely with the chief operating officer and head of business development to refine and update the go-to-market plan and develop a strong and diverse customer base. You will also identify and develop new accounts to further drive revenue growth.
The ideal candidate is a high-energy sales leader who is willing to be hands-on and take action as needed, and also has the ability to drive the organization to take action. You should have a technical background in materials science/engineering, and five to seven years of experience selling into strategic corporations in the electronics and semiconductor industry. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a must, as is experience balancing the technical and business aspects of accounts to drive value solutions to customers.
