On March 3rd, TechCrunch will hold its TC Sessions: Robotics + AI 2020 conference at the University of California, Berkeley, and Toyota AI Ventures is excited to be participating as a sponsor and exhibitor. The event, which attracted more than 1,500 participants last year, brings together some of the world’s leading technologists, researchers, startup founders, and investors to explore the future of robotics and artificial intelligence.

Supporting our portfolio companies is job number one for our platform team, and we will be on hand at Tuesday’s event to showcase the Toyota AI Ventures Jobs Board and Talent Network, where job seekers can find more than 350 career opportunities at startups in our portfolio. From internships to senior-level roles, and everything in between, the companies in our portfolio are recruiting top talent in customer support, data science, engineering, operations, product management, and other areas in cities across the United States, as well as in Europe, Israel, and Japan.

Below are just a few of the roles our portfolio companies are currently hiring for:

Stop by the Toyota AI Ventures table at TC Sessions to learn more, and to get a chance to speak directly with hiring managers at a few of our portfolio companies.

If you are an entrepreneur looking for funding, be sure to ask our team about the Toyota AI Ventures 2020 call for innovation that we’ve launched in partnership with Toyota Research Institute-Advanced Development (TRI-AD) and Toyota Research Institute (TRI). We’re looking to invest in early-stage startups around the world in AI, data, cloud, autonomy, mobility, and robotics that are building solutions for smart, connected cities, and we’re accepting applications from eligible startups online through April 30.

Also, make sure to check out the 3:10pm session on “Bringing Robots to Life,” featuring TRI-AD’s CEO James Kuffner and TRI’s vice president of robotics Max Bajracharya. They’ll discuss some of the incredible work that TRI-AD and TRI are doing to advance automated driving and assistive robots.

You can see two of our portfolio companies, as well: Owen Nicholson, CEO of SLAMcore, will take the stage at TC’s Pitch Night, and Joshua Wilson, CEO of Freedom Robotics, is participating in a session about “Fostering the Next Generation of Robotics Startups” at 5:00pm on Tuesday.

We look forward to seeing you at TC Sessions in Berkeley!
