In 2021, North America ordered a record 29,000 robots during the first nine months of the year alone. This boom in the robotics industry highlights a monumental shift in how companies are approaching automation in complex environments such as manufacturing, warehouses, construction, and others especially in light of the pandemic. However, in order to reach the full potential of a digital workforce, various players in the industry are seeking ways to develop software management tools that enable the wider adoption and utilization of robotic fleets. That’s where our portfolio company, Freedom Robotics, comes in.

Based in San Francisco, Freedom Robotics offers a powerful, easy-to-use robotics platform for managing, monitoring, and controlling fleets of robots. Freedom’s platform provides a host of integrations with other developer tools, platforms, and services that teams already use — eliminating the need to develop layers of the stack from scratch.
