Boxbot is currently hiring talented, motivated professionals who want to transform an industry that impacts the lives of millions of people with self-driving vehicles and automated delivery hubs. Below are just two of the job openings currently available at this exciting logistics startup.

Senior Business Development Manager (Oakland, CA): Boxbot has an immediate opening for an experienced business development expert to lead the company’s go-to-market strategy.

As Boxbot’s senior business development manager, you’ll identify and prioritize commercial opportunities and be responsible for maintaining company growth through various partnerships. You’ll also lead the business development team in agreement approval and execution across multiple verticals, as well as commercial risk mitigation efforts. Other responsibilities include continually identifying opportunities for product and service differentiation, defining and monitoring statuses of the lead pipeline, partner onboarding, sales forecasts, and growth metrics efforts.

Requirements for the role include 10+ years of business development experience in the technology sector and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a similar discipline. You must be proficient with modern CRM tools such as Salesforce, and have experience owning key business relationships. Due to the collaborative nature of this role, you’ll work closely with product and engineering leaders, meaning communication and leadership skills will be critical.

This role takes care of Boxbot’s vehicle fleet and includes ensuring that individual components meet existing design specifications during the integration process for safety and compliance purposes.

As the vehicle integration engineer, you will be responsible for leading vehicle assembly, testing, updates, and ongoing debugging efforts. This position will also analyze existing vehicle configurations and reverse engineer complex automotive control modules and communication buses. Finally, you will be required to support platform validation and component builds and updates.

To qualify, candidates need a bachelor’s or master’s degree in automotive, manufacturing, mechatronics, or similar discipline, as well as 5+ years in automotive manufacturing or research. Boxbot is looking for experts in CAN, CAN-FD, FlexRay, and automotive Ethernets, and applicants who are proficient with reading automotive circuits and wiring schematics. To be Boxbot’s next vehicle integration engineer, you’ll also need to demonstrate experience with electric or hybrid vehicles and have an appreciation for working in small team environments.
