Using AI to Reduce Distracted Driving: Our Portfolio Company Nauto is Hiring

Based in Palo Alto, California, Nauto uses artificial intelligence (AI) to assess real-time risks based on driver behavior, traffic elements, vehicle movement, and contextual data. Nauto’s driver-and-fleet safety platform produces predictive alerts to give drivers critical extra reaction time and help prevent collisions, thereby reducing operational costs, achieving safety metrics, and saving lives.

Senior Content Marketing Manager (Remote)

Nauto is seeking a content marketing leader who will produce thought leadership, accelerate demand generation, and educate customers with engaging, data-backed stories about Nauto’s platform. In this role, you will create the content strategy, roadmap, and execution of content creation and delivery across Nauto’s blog, social media, gated assets, and landing pages. You should have experience with different content types, such as videos, white papers, infographics, and more. While this role is remote, in-person collaboration at Nauto’s Palo Alto headquarters is required at least once a month, and you will be working cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and customer success teams.

A bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, public relations, or related communications field is required for this role, as is seven or more years of relevant B2B marketing experience; industry experience in automotive, telematics, insurance, or IoT products is a plus. Candidates should be strong storytellers and possess a persuasive writing style, a passion for understanding customers and audiences, and a portfolio of content initiatives that have helped achieve marketing and sales objectives. Strong management skills and communication skills are also needed.

Senior Full-Stack Developer (Palo Alto, California)

The senior full-stack developer will translate designs and wireframes into high-quality full-stack code and develop new features using React, Typescript, and Node for customer-facing applications. In this role, you will also develop new features for machine learning and AI tooling and build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field and expert knowledge of computer science, with strong competencies in data structures, algorithms, and software design. Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a must, as is experience with React workflows and data structure libraries. Strong working knowledge of Git, Github best practices, modern UI design tools, and modern authorization mechanisms is also needed, along with familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.
