1. HICATHON!
The Global Tezos and Hic et Nunc Community Presents — HICATHON!
The Hicathon is an all volunteer community-driven hackathon running from Saturday, May 22 at 2:00pm CET to Sunday, May 23 at 8:00pm CET. The initiative is made possible by the Hic et Nunc community, generous donations from artists and collectors, and a generous grant from the Tezos Foundation. Check out their Hic et Nunc gallery.
2. Nessi 2017
Nessi 2017 — THE GENESIS of KIDSBOOKS by PatrickSFX
Nessi was the genesis piece for a 2017 kids book illustration series. Nessi and the girl are having some tea in the Scottish highlands. Nessi’s existence is a secret that only this girl holds. Check out their Kalamint gallery.
3. CONTRACT KILLERS
Each handshake, recorded in front of a selected charged location, represents a realm of obligation and agreement where trust evaporates, where stated contracts continue to fail individuals and communities.
Contract Killers is an augmented reality series created by artist Nancy Baker Cahill, and collaboratively developed into a unique and powerful NFT project with several co-conspirators. The digital assets are minted on the environmentally responsible Tezos blockchain, and paired with physical assets, rewards and consequences outlined in a reimagined smarter contract, and essays from the Artist; the Contemporary Arts Museum Houston Executive Director Hesse McGraw; and noted art attorney, Sarah Conley Odenkirk, partner at the law firm of Cowan, DeBaets, Abrahams & Sheppard LLP. 4. The Birth of [Glitchy] Venus
The masterpiece by Botticelli, deconstructed and re-imagined with millions of dynamic animated particles. A celebration of the intangible nature of digital art.
