It has been a year since our last G0: Genesis shoe collection minting.

We would like to take this time to express our deepest gratitude to all of our long-term and short-term holders. We look forward to your continued support.

TRACER’s NFT shoe collection mint is finally back after a year. Unlike other M2E projects, TRACER hasn’t generated any additional shoe NFTs within our app. We are delighted to be able to announce the increase in our NFT shoe collection due to increased sustainability.

TRACER is the most sustainable Move-and-Earn dapp that is growing significantly. Our recent statistics show that we have been growing continuously in both our Web2 Moneywalk lite mode and Web3 pro mode. (What is Web2 Moneywalk?)

In just 6 months of its release, our Web2 lite mode has shown miraculous results such as the following:

• #1 rank on the Appstore health and fitness chart
• 500,000 cumulative downloads

Currently, the number of MAU (Monthly-Active-Users) exceeded 250,000. Our revenue is also increasing rapidly, averaging 77% monthly growth over the last 6 months.

With such accelerated growth, our Web3 pro mode has also been advancing steadily. But now we are ready to leap. The floor price of our G0: Genesis shoe collection has been climbing upwards since February and is now up +100% to date. Also, the current floor price of our collection rests higher than our previous mint price in September 2022.

We believe we are building the only M2E in Web3 that has protected the floor price above mint for more than a year.

Under such positive circumstances, we are ready to mint our G0: Odyssey collection this fall.

Introducing our NEW NFT collection — G0: Odyssey

Our new collection of NFTs is called G0: Odyssey collection. The word Odyssey comes from Odysseus’ journey home in Greek mythology and encapsulates a journey of heroic adventure. This collection symbolizes TRACER’s bright future as we embark on our new journey. In line with this meaning, TRACER has collaborated with Korea’s best IP NFT projects to introduce high-quality shoes.

GhostsProject

• GhostsProject is an Ethereum chain-based NFT Art project created by Mr. Misang, who is recognized as the most recognized and tiered NFT artist in Korea. GhostsProject has collaborated with the MYTY Project, which has received investments from Hashed, Samsung Next, etc for its excellent technology. It is characterized by being the most adopted PFP by crypto OGs at home and abroad with organic and influential communities.
• GhostsProject is currently operated in the form of a DAO and is actively expanding its ecosystem through a system called Fragments. In addition to this, any community member of the GhostsProject can utilize the GhostsProject IP to contribute to further vitalizing the GhostsProject ecosystem.

Zipcy’s SuperNormal

• SuperNormal is the largest trading volume Web3 IP brand in Korea that runs on the Ethereum chain. SuperNormal’s founders are Andrew Choi, former Coinbase’s Lead Developer and Zipcy, an illustrator who has the largest fanbase in Korea. SuperNormal is the largest project in Korea, with a trading volume of around $100M on OpenSea after its mint.
• Also, it set an unprecedented record of ranking #1 in trading volume on OpenSea all-chain weekly, as well as ranking #1 in 24-hour trading volume. SuperNormal is currently collaborating with SM Entertainment, the leading K-Pop Entertainment group, to release a collection of NFTs. SuperNormal is also promoting a couture fashion business that materializes elements such as fashion and items from NFTs. SuperNormal’s ambitions don’t stop here. SuperNormal constantly strives to grow and expand its influence in the Web2 sphere.

• TRACER’s SuperNormal style collection is the first official wearable NFT of SuperNormal.

While previous M2E shoe NFTs have only provided utility for token mining, TRACER is attributing further value to our NFT collection via NFT as art. To do so, TRACER is collaborating with other NFT projects for the very first time to bring more value and increased rarity. With the launch of G0: Odyssey collection, which maximizes NFT interoperability, we want you to experience the wonder of running with our unique shoes!

Releasing Epic rarity

TRACER has been operating with only 3 rarity shoe parts for the past year. Though we’ve introduced that TRACER shoe NFTs have 5 rarities, only the following 3 have been revealed to the public: Common, Uncommon, Rare. Today, we’re finally announcing the debut of our much-anticipated Epic rarity for the very first time.

Epic rarity parts will inherently have a very scarce distribution system. Accordingly, Epic rarity parts possess high-level stats, as shown below.

Stat gains when leveling up based on part’s rarity

At Lv0 the stat is randomized within a range from a minimum of 20 to a maximum of 26. With each level increase, the stat rises from a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 10. The epic shoe will be difficult to obtain due to the high stats it possesses.

How to collect Epic rarity parts

To obtain an epic rarity part, you need to ‘forge a Rare shoe part.’ Please note that though the term ‘forge’ is used in the following article, it may be subject to change upon the feature’s release.

To forge your part, you need the following two requirements.

NFT Shoe part subject to forge

• By enhancing the rare shoe parts, you can create an Epic-rarity shoe part. However, to do so requires forging ingredients.

Forging ingredients

• Forging ingredients will consist of shoe part NFTs, $TRC, and $HLT. The more ingredients you use, the more likely you’ll be able to upgrade. All enhancing ingredients will be burned immediately after their use.

Forging has a probability of failure, and if they fail, Rare parts could downgrade to Uncommon or Common rarity.

If you want to prevent such failures, you must burn $TRC and $HLT as additional ingredients. Additional information regarding forging failure prevention, forging probability, and forging itself will be announced upon the feature’s release.

In the future, you’ll be able to get Epic Shoe Parts through forging, but a few lucky individuals will be able to obtain Epic shoe NFTs through this mint. There will be a total of 40 shoe parts minted for the Odyssey collection. The number of Epic parts for each shoe is undetermined. This means there’s a chance that up to a maximum of 10 All-Epic shoes can be made! How will you know if you got an Epic shoe? You’ll know from the shoebox’s design immediately after the mint that you received a shoe with an Epic rarity shoe part.

The difference between G0: Genesis & G0: Odyssey

The G0: Genesis NFT shoe part is TRACER’s first iconic NFT and will enjoy unique benefits that differentiate it from other generations, including G0: Odyssey.

For this reason, you gain a powerful advantage when creating Epic parts.

When G0: Genesis parts are the ‘forging’ subject

• Increased probability of enhancing to an Epic rarity

When G0: Genesis parts are ‘forging ingredients’

• Increased probability of ‘forging subject’s success rate and decreased chances of failure

Both of these effects will be designed to have a higher probability compared to G0: Odyssey.

While the G0: Genesis and G0: Odyssey collections won’t differ in their stats and ability to earn $TRC, they will have differences in forging.

Additionally, forging probabilities will increase in the following order:

• G0: Genesis > G0: Odyssey > G1 > G2 > …

More details regarding the forging feature will be released upon the feature update.

What happens when NFT shoe parts increasingly get burned?

If the number of NFTs steadily decreases through the forging enhancement of NFTs, the value of NFTs will increase. However, if too many NFTs are burned, we could lose out on our potential pro-mode web3 users and holders. Therefore, we will be adding a way to supply a ‘limited number’ of NFTs in real time within our app. Due to the limited supply of NFTs, we can prevent inflation.

With the addition of a real-time supply of NFTs within our app, the next Generation of NFTs won’t be G0 but will be G1, G2, … and forth. The subsequent generation of shoe NFTs will be earning a lower amount of $TRC compared to G0 shoe NFTs.

In sum, G0 shoe parts will have the most efficient $TRC earnings compared to all future Generations.

The number of real-time supplies of additional NFT shoes within our app will not exceed the number of shoes burned each month. NFT shoes issued in this way will become the next generation of shoes, therefore making the Odyssey collection G0.

More details on TRACER’s strategy for Generation and its delivery will be revealed in our next article in Q4, 2023. This article will discuss the Legendary rarity as well as TRACER’s scaling strategy to gain more users in Web3.

Increase of TRC pool after mint

Previously, there was a capped TRC pool, which was divided into two pools: an absolute and a relative pool. Since the supply of NFT shoes increases after this mint, the size of $TRC daily issuance pool will also increase.

As a result, the absolute and relative pools will both increase, freeing up the capacity for more holders and shoes. Against this backdrop, we designed the $TRC pool to grow as the number of NFTs grows, making the value of each NFT shoe maintained.

기존의 M2E의 신발 NFT가 토큰 채굴을 위한 유틸리티만 제공되었다면, 트레이서는 NFT 본연의 가치 중 하나인, NFT as an art로서 가치를 부여하고, 더 희귀성이 존재하도록 설계된 IP 콜라보 NFT를 처음 출시합니다. NFT interoperability를 극대화한 이번 컬렉션으로, 더욱 특별한 신발을 신고 달리는 경험을 선물하려고 합니다.

에픽 레어리티의 출시

트레이서는 지난 1년간 오직 3가지의 레어리티의 신발 파츠로만 운영이 되었습니다. 5단계의 레어리티를 소개한지는 오래 되었으나, 아직까지는 Common, Uncommon, Rare의 세 단계만 오픈이 되었었습니다. 많은 분들이 기대하시고 기다리셨던 Epic 등급이 이번에 최초 공개됩니다.

Epic 레어리티의 파츠는 기본적으로 트레이서 생태계 내에서 굉장히 희귀한 분포를 가지게 될 것 입니다. 그에 맞추어, Epic 레어리티의 파츠는 아래와 같이 굉장히 높은 능력치를 보유합니다.

파츠별 레어리티에 따른 레벨업 시 상승 스탯

Lv0에서는 스탯이 최소 20, 최대 26의 레인지에서 랜덤하게 나오게 되고, 레벨업이 1 될때마다 스탯은 최소 6에서 최대 10까지 상승합니다. 굉장히 높은 스탯을 보유하고 있는 레어리티인 만큼 에픽 신발을 획득하는 것은 쉽지 않을 예정입니다.

에픽 레어리티 파츠 획득방법

에픽 등급의 파츠를 얻기 위해서는 ‘파츠 강화’를 해야합니다.

파츠 강화에는 2가지 요소가 필요합니다.

1. 강화 대상

• 레어 파츠를 ‘강화 대상’으로 선택하여 에픽 파츠로 만들수 있고, 강화를 위해서는 ‘강화 재료’가 필요합니다.

2. 강화 재료

• ‘강화 재료’로는 기본적으로 신발 파츠, TRC, HLT가 사용될 수 있습니다. 더 많은 재료를 사용할 수록 강화 성공 확률이 높아집니다. 강화 재료는 강화 즉시 소각이 됩니다.

강화는 실패 확률이 있으며, 강화 실패 시, 레어 파츠가 언커먼, 커먼 등급으로 레어리티 등급 하락이 있을 수 있습니다.

이와 추가적으로, 강화 실패를 예방하기 위해서는 TRC, HLT를 소각하여 실패를 예방할 수 있습니다. 강화 실패 방지, 강화 확률 등 강화에 대한 추가적인 정보는 앱 내 기능 출시에 맞추어 공지될 예정입니다.

앞으로는 강화를 통해서 에픽 신발 파츠를 얻을 수 있지만, 이번 민팅으로 특별히 소수의 에픽 신발 NFT가 민팅될 것입니다. 이번 Odyssey 컬렉션으로 총 40개의 신발 파츠가 민팅될 예정이고, 신발마다 몇개의 에픽 파츠가 들어갈지는 미지수 입니다. 확률에 따라 최대 10개의 올에픽 신발이 나올 수 있다는 의미입니다.

에픽 신발 파츠가 들어간 신발 민팅에 성공한 경우, 슈박스 상태에서 부터 에픽 신발임을 알 수 있도록 슈박스가 디자인 되어있을 것입니다.

G0: Genesis와 G0: Odyssey의 차이점

G0: Genesis 신발 파츠 NFT는 TRACER의 상징적인 첫 NFT로, 다른 Generation은 물론이고, G0: Odyssey와도 다른 특별한 이점을 가지게 됩니다.

바로, 위에 설명한 강화 기능을 통해 에픽 파츠를 만들때 막강한 이점을 가집니다.

1.G0: Genesis 파츠가 ‘강화 대상’일 때

• 에픽 레어리티로 올라갈 때 더욱 확률이 높아집니다.

2. G0: Genesis 파츠가 ‘강화 재료’일 때

• ‘강화 대상’의 강화 성공 확률이 높아지고, 강화 실패 확률이 낮아집니다.

위 두가지 효과는 모두 G0: Odyssey에 비해서 모두 높게 설계될 예정입니다. G0: Genesis 컬렉션과 G0: Odyssey 컬렉션의 스탯과 TRC 획득 능력에서는 차이가 발생하지 않지만 위 강화에서 차이가 발생할 예정입니다.

추가적으로, 아래와 같은 순서로 강화 대상과 재료일때 모두 확률이 높아질 예정입니다.

• G0: Genesis > G0: Odyssey > G1 > G2 > …

자세한 강화 확률 관련 수치 등은 강화 기능 오픈과 함께 공개될 예정입니다.

강화로 인해 NFT 신발 파츠가 점점 소각되면 어떻게 될까요?

NFT 신발 파츠 강화를 통해 지속적으로 NFT 수량이 줄어들면, NFT 가치가 올라가게 됩니다.

그러나 너무 많이 소각이 되면 오히려 트레이서가 확보 가능한 프로모드 유저 수 or 홀더 수가 줄어들 수 있기 때문에, 앱 내에서 실시간으로 ‘제한된 개수’의 NFT를 공급할 수 있는 방식이 추가될 예정입니다. 소각된 개수 이하의 제한된 개수만 공급되어, NFT 인플레이션을 예방할 수 있는 방식의 공급량 조절이 가능합니다.

이렇게 실시간으로 앱 내에서 NFT를 추가 공급할 수 있는 공급 방식이 추가됨에 따라, NFT의 Generation이 그때부터는 G0가 아닌 G1, G2, … 등으로 이후 Generation 신발들이 공급될 예정이며, G1 부터의 신발들은 G0 신발에 비해 더 낮은 TRC 획득 효율을 가져가게 될 예정입니다.

즉, 이번 민팅 대상인 Odyssey와 기존 Genesis G0 신발 파츠가 앞으로의 Generation 1 이상의 신발, 파츠들 중 가장 높은 효율의 TRC 획득을 가져가게 될 예정입니다.

실시간으로 앱 내에서 추가 공급되는 NFT 신발 개수는 매월 소각된 개수의 신발 개수 이하의 수량으로 제한된 수량 추가 공급합니다. 이러한 방식으로 발행되는 NFT 신발들이 다음 Generation 신발들이 되므로, 이번 컬렉션은 G0에 해당 합니다.

Generation에 대한 트레이서의 전략과 본 공급 방법에 대한 자세한 내용은 4분기에 공개될 다음 아티클에서 공개합니다. 해당 아티클에서 레전더리 등급과 이후 Web2 뿐만 아닌 Web3에서 더 많은 유저를 확보하며 성장하는 트레이서의 확장 전략을 공개합니다.

이번 민팅 이후 TRC 풀

기존에는 정해진 크기의 TRC 풀이 있고, 이 풀은 절대풀과 상대풀로 나뉘어있었습니다.

이번 민팅 이후에는 더 많은 NFT 신발이 공급되기 때문에, TRC 일일 발행 풀의 규모가 증가하게 됩니다. 이에 따라 절대풀, 상대풀 모두 증가하게 되어 더 많은 홀더와 더 많은 신발을 확보할 수 있는 용량을 확보합니다.

이러한 배경으로 NFT의 개수 증가에 맞게 TRC 풀이 증량되기 때문에, 신발의 가치는 유지되도록 설계 하였습니다.

이번 민팅 이후에도 추가적으로 기대할만한 좋은 소식들도 전달드릴 예정이고, 앞으로 더 많은 업데이트가 있을 예정입니다.
