We are really excited to share Traceroll beta with you today.
Traceroll is a creative social platform for everyone to share their stories and ideas on infinite canvases.
As cliche as it may sound, we truly believe that there’s a creator inside each one of us. The daily scribbles, notes, photos and video clips that we produce each day is just as interesting as a detailed drawing of a fruit bowl (sometimes more so) — just think about modern art.
When we were in college, renting exhibition spaces were too expensive, so we would host creative students in our dorm rooms to exhibit their artwork on our walls. As the night went on, our friends and guests would draw on the walls and pin photos using a Polaroid camera. These events quickly caught on and became a campus-wide phenomena.
The most interesting thing we realized was the value and scarcity of blank spaces, as common mediums to share with your friends. Not only were they powerful platforms to share formal content like artwork, but they were also attractive, in that people would come together by drawing, scribbling and sharing photos. People were starting to connect with each other in meaningful, witty ways. Noticing the various envy-inspiring social platforms and their limiting, rigid user interfaces, we started working on Traceroll as an online platform.
With Traceroll, we wanted to remove all those boring interfaces and rules for you to decide how to communicate your stories and ideas to the world and to your friends.
We hope you enjoy this new enticing medium for communicating and collaborating with friends!
