traceto.io Updates: A Quick Revisit into the Highlights for August & September
Last few months have been both exciting and fulfilling for traceto.io. To elevate our global presence and keep ourselves engage in the blockchain industry, our team attended and actively participated in several events, such as the Ethereum Hanoi Meetup and Crypto & Blockchain Seminar Series in Vietnam, and FATF/EAG FinTech & RegTech Forum in Hangzhou, China.
traceto.io has seen increasing growth in the past months, and with the objective of establishing a global presence, we expanded our team by on-boarding a group of talented developers and engineers in Vietnam to support our rapid growth. There will be more for us to accomplished in the upcoming months, such as traceto.io product and service launch. Vietnam in a Nutshell: Ethereum Hanoi Meetup + Cryptocurrencies & Digital Assets Dialogue
On September 15, Kyber Network, Tomochain, Global Shapers Hanoi and Up Co-Working Space graciously hosted an Ethereum Hanoi Meetup, held in Vietnam, Hanoi. We were honoured to have Chye Kit, our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Founder of traceto.io, share his expertise and experiences with the industry players.
Concurrently, the Cryptocurrencies & Digital Assets Dialogue (CDAD 2018) was also held in Vietnam, Hanoi. The focal point of this event was to release the draft policy on cryptocurrencies regulations established by the Ministry of Justice. At the CDAD 2018, we were also very honoured to have Chye kit as one of the panel speakers where he shared about the evolving regulatory trends and global efforts by FATF to issue consistent guidance regarding Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter Terrorism Financing (CTF).

Crypto & Blockchain Seminar Series (CBS)
In this series of Crypto & Blockchain Seminar (CBS), traceto.io team was invited by professional blockchain and cryptocurrency researchers from the National University of Singapore (NUS) to share our experiences across the regulatory domain. Dan Poh, CMO of traceto.io and Dias Lonappan, CTO of traceto.io, shared their expertise in the relevant fields. They showcased our KYC utility model and discussed how we can provide a better user experience for our clients.

FATF/EAG FinTech & RegTech Forum
Chye Kit, our CEO and Founder, attended the 3rd FATF/EAG FinTech & RegTech Forum from 4–5 September 2018, held in Hangzhou, China. The event was attended by industry professionals from different regions of the world, including global regulators, representatives from the FinTech and RegTech sectors, financial institutions, FATF members and observers. Chye Kit was also invited to be one of the speakers. At the forum, he discussed about regulations in the emerging Blockchain and Cryptocurrency sector, touching on these three main overarching points:
1) Regulatory and Cryptocurrency perspective of ICOs
2) How can RegTech reduce the “pain-points” of compliance for cryptocurrency start-ups
3) Building a robust KYC framework

BlockShow Americas, Las Vegas 2018
In August, traceto.io wrapped up a phenomenal two days at BlockShow Americas, Las Vegas, powered by Cointelegraph. The large scale event gathered many blockchain and crypto enthusiasts from all over the world, including startups, investors, founders, C-level executives, lawyers, and developers, to share about their innovative ideas, visions and latest trends in the industry. New Partnership with Indorse
Early August, traceto.io also signed an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding with Indorse. We are certain that with Indorse forte in validation to explore new areas of authentication, it will help traceto.io fulfil its objective of building a seamless, decentralized KYC Network, helping us to achieve regulatory inclusion. The agreement established a framework of partnership and information sharing that will enable both parties to get the full benefit of each other’s expertise.
