Block-Clip Interviews Dan at BlockShow Singapore
As a part of traceto.io team’s participation at the recent Blockshow Asia conference in Singapore, our Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer Dan Poh gave an interview to the blockchain related video-sharing platform — Block-Clip. In the video, he covered a variety of subjects, including details on and the current progress of the traceto.io project, the advantages of eKYC compared to traditional KYC processes and the state of the blockchain technology and markets today.
In the interview, Dan outlined the history of the traceto.io project, our relationship with the parent company Cynopsis and the team’s plans to leverage blockchain technology to improve KYC services. When asked about the key feature of the eKYC service, Dan explained the goal of the traceto.io project, which is to revolutionize KYC by utilizing blockchain technology to significantly reduce verification times and cost, as well as enabling clients to share profiles instantaneously, with a single click of the mouse button.
He talked about the strengths of the traceto.io project which covers all the regulated markets and institutions, as well as those of it’s team members, the main one being extensive experience of over 5 decades, in the RegTech and Compliance spaces. He also explained that, when it comes to identity verification, our KYC tool can address 4 main questions — who you are, who you are not, are you still who you said you were and what do you do? This is in contrast to many of the other identity verification systems currently in the market who tend to focus on only one — who you are.
Answering the final question of the interview, Dan touched on the subjects Security Token Offerings, the oversaturation in the cryptocurrency space and the maturity that will come with the establishment of the strongest projects within it.
