September’s Events with Cynopsis & traceto.io
September is yet another month filled with exciting events that will be happening locally and globally. Amidst the busy preparation of our upcoming product and service launch, Cynopsis Solutions and traceto.io will continue to attend several notable events around the world. In Singapore, a few highlights include the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) FI-RegTech Dialogue as well as the Compliance & Transparency Week organised by the British High Commission. Global wise, there will be Cryptocurrency & Digital Assets Dialogue that is held in Vietnam. Chye Kit and Dan will also be visiting Taiwan to attend the FinTechSpace launch happening this month.

1. Slush & Signum Blockchain Event
Date: 12th September 2018

In the month of September, Cynopsis Solutions will be participating the Blockchain Event organised by Slush Singapore and Signum Capital. The event aims to promote the blockchain technology and its potential for businesses.
Mr Chionh Chye Kit, CEO and founder of traceto.io, will be sharing the vision of Cynopsis Solutions & traceto.io, and also redefining KYC for the blockchain and crypto community by leveraging on cutting-edge technologies, and building an inclusive KYC solution for cryptocurrency market participants

2. CBS Crypto & Blockchain Seminar

The introduction of Bitcoin and Blockchain back in 2009 has evoked a new realm of possibility of initiating national cryptocurrencies. The possibility has brought up an abundance of researches conducted by economists and researchers around the world and with that, the Crypto & Blockchain Seminar Series (CBS) is organised to offer a platform for integration of research sources among Singapore and worldwide researchers, bridging industry with academia and promoting interdisciplinary collaborations. This seminar series focuses on recent developments of the blockchain technology as well as new areas of applications such as smart contracts and Initial Coin Offerings (ICO).
In this series, we are pleased to have our CMO of traceto.io, Mr Dan Poh, to share with us his insights and experiences in the relevant fields, as well as his thoughts on the growing potential of Blockchain Technology for businesses.
3. Ethereum Hanoi Meetup

Ethereum is a platform and programming language that makes it possible for any developer to build and publish next-generation decentralized applications. Ethereum Hanoi Meetup is a forum designed to facilitate Blockchain, specially Ethereum blockchain, discussions and a platform for knowledge sharing between developers and technical experts in the space.
As part of the dialogue, Chye Kit has been invited to speak about traceto.io decentralised Know Your Customer (KYC) network that seeks to bridge the compliance gap between the real and virtual worlds. He will be sharing about regulatory inclusion and empowerment for the blockchain community with respect to KYC.
4. Vietnam Cryptocurrencies & Digital Assets Dialogue

Cryptocurrencies & Digital Assets Dialogue (CDAD) 2018 will be the first official public-private dialogue about cryptocurrencies development and regulation for Vietnam. Chaired by Vietnam Ministry of Justice, many key Vietnam government officials and regulators will be present at this event. The Vietnam Ministry of Justice will also announce the drafted regulations on cryptocurrency for Vietnam including crypto exchange matters and receive comments and suggestion from the private sector.
Additionally, Chye Kit will be speaking at the dialogue as one of the guest speakers, to share about his expertise and experiences in the relevant fields of cryptocurrencies, as well as his thoughts and opinions on the regulatory landscape for blockchain and crypto industry.
5. Fintech Space Launch Ceremony

FinTechSpace, instructed by Financial Supervisory Commission of Taiwan (FSC) and co-funded by its private wing Taiwan Financial Service Roundtable (TFSR), is the first Fintech-focused co-working space in Taiwan, and a tech-based environment for stimulating and accelerating the latest Fintech innovation. The launch of the FinTechSpace will be held on the 17 September 2018 in Taiwan. Chye Kit and Dan will be attending this notable event, and they will be engaging Taiwan’s growing Fintech industry.
6. British High Commission: Compliance & Transparency Week
