traceto.io launches Lite Mainnet User dApp
Since successfully concluding our ICO Public Sale this June, the team has been working hard at providing the first inclusive “real-world” standard KYC solution for the virtual world.
Today, we are delighted to announce the Lite Mainnet release of our User dApp!
The dApp paves the way towards a decentralized solution to the problem of having to trust a centralized authority to manage and store your user’s KYC. It provides a more comprehensive KYC solution that cuts across silos of information.
Continuing on the development of our Alpha release, written and structured in Angular 5, the latest version of the dApp implements the following features:
Dapp Frontend:
- The user onboarding with improved UI/UX and liveness and upload to IPFS.
Dapp Backend:
- Contracts for Profile
- An inalienable token structure
- User to Requestor Consent and Flow
- Supports PK wallet
Through this release users will be able to experience the onboarding application that will allow them to create an encrypted profile, stored in IPFS. The key to unlocking it is split and stored in pieces with the verifier system, thus ensuring a robust security system to store and retrieve user’s profile information.
Additionally, and in the spirit of open source, the team has published:
- 3 libraries to NPM
- 4 new github repositories::
1. tracetoio-workflow-lib (https://github.com/tracetoio/tracetoio-workflow-lib) — a repo that contains the models for each actor in the system, used to test the smart contract flows.
2. tracetoio-eth-lib (https://github.com/tracetoio/tracetoio-eth-lib) — a wrapper around web3 that creates a unified interface all Dapps to talk to web3
3. Contract_KYC_workflow (https://github.com/tracetoio/Contract_KYC_workflow) — the actual contracts. A finalized version has yet to be pushed since review and some final changes are taking place
4. Tracetoio-crypto-lib (https://github.com/tracetoio/tracetoio-crypto-lib) — a utility for crypto related functions.
We are also planning the implementation of multiple device support for the User dApp by the end of this year, as well as the release of the Verifier dApp with mechanism design, which is due by the end of April 2019.
