The Anatomy of a Growth Hacker
You’ve probably heard a lot about ‘growth hacking’, ‘growth hackers’, ‘growth’, ‘hacking’, aliens, conspiracy theories, and business solutions. Sounds overwhelming? We thought so.
It’s time to debunk the myth once and for all. A growth hacker isn’t a scary warlock with a big pimples on his nose. A growth hacker is a wise wizard, with a long beard and a flowy gown like Gandalf’s.
Or, a growth hacker is a person focused on driving quick wins by experimenting and always taking informed decision based on analysis and metrics.
It’s not easy to be a growth hacker. It requires extensive knowledge in quantum physics and biomedical engineering. Maybe not that intensely. Yet growth hackers do need to know web design, coding, marketing, business development, strategy.
Top that with a healthy amount of courage, ambition, drive to experiment and an eager curiosity to constantly discover tools and ways to innovate, and you have the ideal growth hacker.
Of course, it takes time and patience. And, in the end, not everyone can achieve this level. So, we studied and decomposed the mind of a growth hacker, and narrowed down the 6 most important characteristics that make up their anatomy.
Charisma
Growth hackers are thinkers, doers, and speakers. They’re charismatic and constantly networking with old and new opportunities. They know that building strong, long-lasting relationships is one of the key ways to success. It’s why growth hackers love hosting and participating in workshops and events — you learn, socialize, and have a great time!

Courage
It takes guts to take risks. Growth hackers are brave fighters, always striving for the best. They need a significant amount of courage to always try out new things and face the steep stairway to success. How else are we supposed to learn from our mistakes if we don’t have the courage to try out new things?
Courage = 💪
Experiments
Closely linked to having courage is experimentation. Experiments are the basis of Growth. Growth hackers always experiment with new tools, skillsets, or trends to see what works best. Sometimes they work, sometimes they fail. But when they fail, growth hackers learn how to succeed next time.
Experiments = 🤩
Limits
Growth hackers exceed them to find what works and doesn’t. They always strive to be the best and, if they fail, that’s just another starting point. This sort of mindset is what feeds growth hackers’ positive attitude and willingness to succeed. They’ll do everything in their power to achieve the right results for you and your business.
Limits = 👊
Tools
Aren’t for fools. Growth hackers know how to efficiently handle and work with all sorts of tools. Incorporating them into the right strategy is key on the road to business growth. Tools aren’t the enemy, but some of our closest friends. They can achieve things that would take people too much time, money, and resources. And, Growth hackers are in love with efficiency, which is why they’re in love with tools.

Words
Don’t come easy… to everyone. But, growth hackers aren’t everyone. They have a way with words (can’t you tell by this blog post?). As important tools, socialising, and experimentation are, they would be nothing without careful and intelligent use of words. Growth hackers meticulously study, understand, and use words to deliver the best possible results.
Words = 🧐
