TradeStars’s development started about a year ago. We’re an experienced team of entrepreneurs, with great love for technology, committed to disrupting the way users express they passion for sports.
Today, we are taking a big step in this endeavour by announcing the release of the TradeStars White Paper. This paper is great milestone for our company to explain how TradeStars works, share our vision, and lay out our plans for the next years to come.
We strongly believe that continuous feedback from our users enriches our vision and with our white paper, we also look forward to receiving feedback from the community interested in Fantasy Sports, players, blockchain developers and future partners.
Why TradeStars
Fantasy Sports have been around for quite some time now, but for those who are not familiar with the definition, a fantasy game is a game where the score that defines the possible outcomes is based on real-life facts. In case of Sports, these scores are generally based on athletes’ performance statistics.
This type of competition between sports fans around real-life stats has existed for more than 40 years, mainly in the USA, but with the advent of the smartphone (around 2007), this industry faced an interesting
innovation, the rise of what was called the Daily Fantasy Sports.
Fantasy Sports market size reached $13.9 billion in 2018 and is expected to reach $33.2 billion by the end of 2025. This is a 10x growth vs retail, impressive, but it is just the beginning.
Sport is one of the driving forces of the global economy (+90 USD billion in 2017) and people spend hours, every day, consuming sports through TV, online media, live matches and even travel to see live events.
We believe there’s a lot of room for innovation in this field and a huge opportunity ahead. We are encouraged to change the way people express their passion and knowledge in sports, bring new ways on which they can communicate and interact with each other and their favourite sports teams and players. Our vision is to provide true digital ownership, transparency, liquidity and decentralization to this industry.
TradeStars is building a new kind of Fantasy Sports game, based on these four pillars.

Although we have made a lot of progress since we started, the best is yet to come! We’re very excited about our upcoming beta launch in India (December 2019) and we are eager to continue to devote our time and energy to unlock the immense potential of TradeStars.
